A pair of fragmented tuatua (clam) shell fragments takes on a new life as stud earrings.

Shell fragment has been naturally sea-tumbled forming a smooth unique shape.

Lower shell rims have been hand gilded with copper paint mixed with 23k real gold leaf and powder.

Set on 14k gold-filled/ 925 sterling silver earring posts with clutches.

No two shells are alike so shape, texture, and size may slightly vary from the ones pictured. So just like it's wearer, each shell pendant is unique!

Ethically & sustainably collected from one of the shores of the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.

Shell size: varies from 18-25mm height.
